Applications should be received no later than
March 1 of the year in which the school attendance is sought.
Please submit the following documents:
- Short resume
- Certificate of the highest school-leaving qualification achieved (e.g.: 10th grade/Abitur/…)
- Vocational school leaving certificate
- Skilled worker/journeyman certificate from the IHK or HWK
- Proof of professional experience (see FAQ)
- Additionally for foreign applicants
- Language certificate at level B2
- Visa (non-EU countries)

- Professional experience in shoe manufacturing (at least 12 – 24 months)

Attending the German Shoe School is free of charge. The costs for learning materials, training documents and other materials as well as an external examination amount to approx. 1200 €.
